Here is my fps/bps for last night

Note that untill 3 days ago i had a stable 50ish fps with a 2 mb transfer.

As far as i know talking with friends the biggest issue is for ppl from europe playing on american servers (as i am) now if you post in this topic pls state from where/on wich server you play and if you have or not any issue .

I honestly don't blame anet for my lag since of course they can't route a cable right from my house to the servers but something on the line isn't working properly and could be able to fix it for us :/.

I'm in England on a 2.2MB ADSL line and playing on the European servers. I'm getting no lag at all and a constant FPS of between 90-100 on max settings at 1280x1024x32.

I have no lag when playing on the American servers but varying degrees of lag on the Euro servers, not surprising since my ping to the American servers is about 200 ms compared with 380 to 450 ms for Europe.

I contacted Anet support and while dodging most of my questions regarding latency and interrupts, they conceded Europe has lag troubles late afternoon German time, since the Euro servers are ALL in Germany. Network engineering is looking into it. Incidentally, there's network maintenance scheduled on 7 Oct perhaps for this very reason.

I always start lagging when there is an event coming up and they seem to prepare the servers. Now that they are about to change HA tot 6 vs 6 i think its due to that. Hope they will sort it out soon as many of my gvg members cant play gvg :S

Just add the -perf switch to your Guild Wars shortcut. It will then display the details just to the left of the round mini-map.

Lagging at the start of a battle in PvP and PvE, only gets back to normal when i die, or have stood still for about 30-60 seconds... really bad and pissing me off big time.

I'm usually one of the last people to complain about lag, but I lagged so bad last night that I dropped off twice, and frequently tried to cast spells just to be told that the target was invalid because whoops, it was already dead, I just hadn't been communicated that yet.

Eh. I leave for a while, write, drum, come back a couple hours later and it's usually good.

Been thrown off the game twice in 2 days, never had many problems before. Internet connection is ok since Venty stays on. And yes, I'm in that nasty hotspot they call European servers... :P

Yeah, but you're in Manchester. Perhaps all the rain has washed some cabling away somewhere.

Yah I never complained about lag before because I never had any. But these last few days I've had it where I can't move, and everything stops, I can't use skills etc. Then sometimes a lot will suddenly happen in a few seconds and I can play again, but sometimes I get err 007, err 005 or err40. I never had err 7s before in my 14 months playing Guild Wars until this week.

I was at 9 wins in RA playing the monk when it happened last. Couldn't move for about 20 seconds and I was just thinking to myself that's enough time for everyone to die. When the lag was over I saw that I had died, been ressed, died again, and someone else had died with another on low health.
